Today’s Screencast.com update brings some improvements that we’ve been working on. We don’t have any flashy new features to announce, but we do have lots of small improvements to Screencast.com. Here are a few you may notice:
- The workflow for the uploader has changed just a little. No need to select files and then press Upload anymore; your files are uploaded as soon as you select them.
- The new required version of the Adobe Flash plug-in for using the uploader is 9.0.115. If you’re having trouble seeing Flash content on Screencast.com, check out this post.
- Instead of taking you to a new login page, there’s now a login box in the header when you’re not logged in. Logging out also keeps you on your current page.
- We began working on redesigning our Help Center. The search functionality is vastly improved (searches should no longer return ten pages of results) and the results are listed with a description of their contents, like you might see on Google.
- We’ve added links to this blog on the homepage, in the footer, and in the Find Answers box. Check back (or add us to your RSS reader) for information on Screencast.com development, tutorials, and general screencasting tips and tricks.
